Album: Call In Sick EP
Artist: Hawdwerk
Released: May 21, 2012

Coming fresh from West Covina is Hawdwerk with his Call In Sick EP. Being his first solo project after working with producer Jansport J, Hawdwerk wanted to have us listen in to his story. The production is across the charts with tracks being done by J. Bizness, Cball, and Kaleem “sincere” Wasif. Hawdwerk uses such a subtle way of telling his story of dealing with guns, making music and just being a young cat in So Cal. “I Don’t Need Much” Prod. By Wasif is an anthem to those that are “ballers on a budget”. The message of not needing much in life to be happy and make things work is really what this is all about. His witty synonym play of words on “WUDDUP” featuring Richard Wright is sharp like razor blades. The EP is full of relaxation, inspiration, and just good ol’ hip-hop.
