Take a step into the rabbit hole and fall in love with The Vim Dicta. This self-titled EP (which was recorded live in the studio) has us all reminiscing the great sounds of the 60’s with their own very progressive sound. Cori, their lead vocalist has a very strong and raw voice that only is partners in crime with the haunting echo riffs of their guitarist Matt. Giving the band heavy energetic breakdowns is drummer David. All of these young artists skills are just outrageous on “Mezmer”. This track reminds me of early Black Sabbath, The Animals, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. They have a show coming up on the 29th of this month at The Silverlake Lounge and you can download the EP here.
