Following their 2010 Odd Blood album, New York’s own Yeasayer is back at it again with Fragrant World. They have released the first single Henrietta. The track is merky, cold and yet still allows the fan to dance and feel the music. As we have learned Chris Keating vocals croon over soft-spoken tracks that tend to speed up at the right time to get us moving. The psych-snap-gospel sounds these guys produce are all over the single. They will be touring this summer heavily to promote the beautifully weird album, which is also produced by Yeasayer.
