Patrick Martinez is an L.A. native born and raised in Los Angeles whose art brings sublime beauty to things one wouldn’t typically beauty within. He uses subject matters that are not typically painted in the limelight in addition to elements of the city from various mediums. His latest work titled “Lovely Day” is currently being shown in Los Angeles’ “Known Gallery”. The exhibition explores the battle between good vs. evil in the City of Angels composed of a still-life painting with neon lettering with the phrase “Lovely Day” across. His additional works join glossy exteriors with dark undertones that includes a vending machine with one-of-a-kind prizes captured inside. The exhibition will be held through the 30th at the Known Gallery.
