British street artist Phlegm is gettin’ all mid evil on us, and we’re loving it! Born in North Whales, now residing in Sheffield, UK, Phlegm started out as a cartoonist and became well known for his self published comics. He started taking his characters to the streets and eventually street art became his passion. Phlegms’ style is definitely all his own and his work, detailed and eloquent, is filled with dragons, gangly fishermen and other worldly creatures. His brilliant reference to ancient engravings and woodblock prints is achieved by combining the contemporary medium of street art with the use black and white. The detail is amazing and the story is captivating, creating mini portholes that suck us into a magical era and onto the path of Phlegm’s mid evil journey.
