English artist Damien Hirst debuts his latest artwork that puts a creative spin on U.S. weaponry and weapons of mass destruction with “Spin AK47 for Peace Day.” The design is a collaboration between with non profit peace organization Peace One Day that is being offered as a unique way to raise money and bring awareness to National Peace Day celebrated September 21st. Damien Hirst gives his reinterpretation of AK-47 assault rifles raising awareness against the horror of violence globally, recasting a weapon of devastation into a creative example of peace shedding light to those affected.The auction for this wonderfully hand design piece begins October 4 at Howick Place in London so if your in or around the city be sure to stop by to place your bid before its too late.
