L.A. artist Shark Toof opened his solo show titled “Ping Pong Show” last weekend at C.A.V.E. Gallery, Venice Beach. The primal collection electrified with vibrant hues engages in a romance of predator versus prey, flaunting with the provocative and playing with the old tale of Beauty and the Beast, only as it might be seen today through a forward thinking and visually talented graffiti artists eyes. The work itself showcases Toof’s continued evolution from art in the streets into hanging in the gallery and carries a refined explosion you can almost taste.
