Takashi Murakami “Flowers & Skulls” Exhibition @ Gagosian Gallery Hong Kong

Internationally renowned Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami debuted his latest Exhibition at the Gagosian Gallery Hong Kong. The recent exhibit was titled “Flowers & Skulls” where the focal point of the exhibition is flowers and skulls exploring various artistic inspirations and merging Japanese pop art with traditional techniques. Murakami’s blend of Japanese caricatures with conventional Asian art was on display as the artist displayed 14 new paintings such as “Blue Life Force,” “Self-Portrait of the Manifold Worries of a Manifoldly Distressed Artist,” and “The Artist’s Agony and Ecstasy”. The exhibition is open to the public until February 9, so if you happen to live or be around the area make sure you stop by and treat yourself to some eye-popping visual art by one of the greatest artist of our time.
