Friday night the stars were out, the red carpet was drawn, and the cameras were rolling as online fashion boutique Closet Freak set things off for the “Holiday Experience” at Hollywood’s own Café Entourage covered by ILLSOCIETY Magazine. The Closet Freak held an exclusive holiday event and toy drive benefiting the South Los Angeles community coalition providing gifts this season for children in need. The goal was to spread awareness to help transform the social and economic conditions in South LA that foster addiction, crime, violence and poverty by building a community institution that involves thousands in creating, influencing and changing public policy. The event was a joint collaboration with ASA’s Royal Desserts, Hula Girl Beverages, and YOMEGZ accessories featuring a live set by 102.3 KJLH’s own Dj O.N.E with a special live performance by Grown Azz Kidz.
The night began with a bang as everyone lined up to walk the red carpet and have their photographs taken by an array of photographers. Los Angeles locals were definitely in full effect as the night displayed edgy, stylish, bold individuals rocking their best threads from head to toe rocking everything from the latest Joyrich collection to throwback vintage apparel and Gazelle sunglasses. As you walked in, you immediately got a chance to checkout the wonderful scenery of the plush design and interior decor of Café Entourage that offered an exclusive VIP area where the sponsors resided during the night. Guest got a chance to mingle, network and vibe out with all the beautiful women and dapper distinguished gents who filled the room. Within the crowd, was a wealthy mix of eclectic individuals that set a great atmosphere that would remain consistent throughout the night.
Towards the middle of the event, Grown Azz Kidz took the stage and had everyone rushing to the 1st floor to see their live performance that sent the crowd to another level. By the time they were half way into their first song, the entire first level became an old school house party with glasses raised, heads swinging and bodies rocking. The performance definitely set the tone for what turned out to be a holiday extravaganza and Dj O.N.E had the party going all night as the party goers danced the night away. New Atlanta artist Trinidad James debut single dropped and instantly had the ballers/shot callers flossing their jewelry from watches, chains, rings and everything in between with “All Gold Everything.” Overall, the event turned out to be entertaining and fun experience with special thanks to Closet Freak, ASA’s Royal Desserts, Hula Girl Beverages, YOMEGZ accessories, Edge Magazine, and Keisha Sullivan for helping to organize/put together the entire event. KS Consulting Inc did a marvelous job making Closet Freak’s “The Holiday Experience” an event to remember.
