Romanian based illustrator Ghica Popa has released a few images from a very unique series of illustrations that tie together the artist’s love for sneakers, personal flavor and curiosity regarding space travel. His style is a surrealist mix between robots, animal inspired characters and strange buildings that are influenced by science fiction, movies he watched as a kid, old futuristic cars, comic books and different art movements, from cubism to pop art. By combining kicks like the Air Max 1, 909 and 180, Ghicha was able to deliver an entertaining piece of work for everyone to enjoy especially all the avid shoe collectors all around the world.
