Tattooing is a unique way of expressing art that has been among the culture of America for generations on top of generations. In this video, we visit tattoo artist turned modern art exhibitor Mike Giant who is renowned for his Mexican-inspired illustrations and affinity for skate culture. In his latest series, the SF-based artist creates a mural for photographer and friend Sean Desmond’s San Francisco studio. The video takes you through a treatment Giant grapples with his classic freehand lettering taking us through conception to the finish portrait. From start to finish you can’t help but admire Mike’s talents and attention to detail as he takes you on a journey through his artwork.
