Joey Fatts, a Long Beach, CA native, finally released his highly anticipated new mixtape titled “Chipper Jones Vol 2” May 29, 2013. The wait was well worth it as Chipper Jones Vol 2 features other artists such as ASAP Rocky, Danny Brown, Freddie Gibbs and Vince Staples who all together along with others, deliver making it a mixture of bangers. My favorite off the mixtape is titled “14 Choppa” produced by 808 Mafia has Joey Fatts followed by ASAP Rocky and Danny Brown. The beat will instantly have you moving your head as it starts off with the known “Pretty Flacko” aka ASAP Rocky introducing Joey into the mix and of course Danny Brown giving it all he has as he sings the hook, “Gimme whatcha got!” Although this track is not the most lyrical it leaves a mark because all of them rap well. Other dope tracks on the mixtape include “Picture Me Rollin'” produced by Cardo, “PushaMan” Produced By Joe Wax, “Lindo” produced by Stoney Willis, and features Vince Staples. This track is a different feel from “14 CHOPPA” because the beat is slower and it gives the listener a chance to pay attention to the lyrics.
