Ab-Soul gets a bit controversial over dark chiming bells and subtle machine-gun snares, on the ready-for-war single “Christopher DRONEr”.

AB begins off in a way only he knows how, as he chants “Bunch of fuckin’ drones, Bunch of drones, can’t think for your own!” with the underlying statement in his lines that the public is still under a “control system”. He gets a bit revolutionary with lines like “The SWAT team got robots and I’m thinkin’ ’bout coppin’ mine, Literally, fuck a pair of shoes, I’m cockin’ nines dare you to shoot…” Of course something like this is to be expected from the deep thinker out the TDE crew; but don‘t mistake this track for a manifesto, AB just simply continues to shine light on controversial political and social issues .

The Black Lip Bastard Pastor acquires “Christopher DRONEr”s militant sound from, TDE in-house producer-Willie B, and of course he throws Ali in the mix.

The track is evidently a play on Christopher Dorner, the former LAPD officer who had the whole Los Angeles police department shook earlier this year as he partook on a infamous cop killing spree, adding his name to the list of one of the largest manhunts in LAPD history.

Without in-depth detail, Soulo has announced to be working on a new project and “Christopher DRONEr” is a taste of what’s to come from the Control System follow-up.

Make sure you press play below and peep the twist of Kanye’s “New Slaves” on the outro.
