Ain’t no party like a west coast party cus a west coast party don’t stop…
A few weeks back ILLSOCIETY had the chance to attend Block Party Los Angeles, presented by A. Glaspie Marketing. The event took place at a warehouse located in the booming art district of L.A. The Block Party featured a melting pot of local Hip-Hop artists who’s been putting in work for a minute in the City of Angels, such as producer, writer and singer Iman Omari. As well as iLL Camille, Thurz, Jazzy, Yancy Deron, and Quiz. The ladies over at A. Glaspie Marketing also did a great job curating the layout/interior design. The layout gave the Block Party an authentic experience. All the performers put on a great performance and had amazing energy. One of the highlights of the night was when west coast gangsta rap veteran Kurupt made a special guest appearance during iLL Camille’s set and performed “We Can Freak It” from his 1998 classic album, Kuruption! Battlecat was also in the building supporting the movement. The evening was filled with love, unity, and inspiration. We had such a good time and look forward to the next Block Party L.A.
